Security
Security Screening & Identification
All passengers and their bags are screened by TSA prior to boarding. A
government-issued photo ID (federal, state, or local) is required at check-in and again at the security checkpoint. You must also have a valid
boarding pass to proceed beyond the checkpoint. Only ticketed passengers may enter the gate area, unless assisting a child or traveler with special needs (check with your airline for access).
Carry-On & Screening
Each traveler is allowed
one carry-on bag and one personal item (e.g., purse or briefcase). To speed up screening, place items like
jewelry, belts, shoes, phones, coins, and coats in the provided bins.
Electronics such as laptops must be removed from their cases for separate screening. Jackets must also be removed and X-rayed. Limit metal objects on your person to avoid delays.
Travel Safety Reminders
- Do not accept items from strangers to carry on board.
- Report any unattended bags or suspicious activity to airport personnel.
- Keep your belongings with you at all times.
